How safe is my intellectual property protected when manufacturing in NPD?. Answer. NPD is a serious company and maintains nondisclosure
agreements with various US Corporations. The product information released for manufacturing is maintained in a confidential status as stated on the signed contract.
What is the minimum dollar amount of a contract? Answer: As NPD is a medium size contract manufacturer we accept
small and medium size contracts that are usually rejected by larger competitors. However we follow an expansion potential in our growing plan and eventually will be in a position of acceptation larger
size contracts. For more information call to one of our sales representatives.
Do NPD works under turn-key or consignment scheme? Answer: The preferred option for NPD is consignment. This means
the customers provide all the components and NPD performs the assembly service. Also, the turn-key option can be provided under specific conditions. If you are interested on a turn-key solution
provide estimated value of raw material and components, year usage and product information. The turn-key solution means NPD to buy the components and deliver the product assembled
Which quality achievements NPD comply? Answer: NPD is in compliance with ISO-9000 by the end of December 2003.
What is the Maquiladora fiscal scheme? Answer: The maquiladora fiscal scheme allows to send raw
material and components into Mexico without paying any import fees. The raw material and components can be transformed or assembled into finished or semifinished products that must be returned to the
country of origin. Only Freight and customs brokers fees to document the border crossing of good must be paid.
Which experience NPD personnel have? Answer. NPD founders and key personnel have more than 15 years at least on manufacturing activities of electronic products.
